Lighting Boat Docks With LED Rope Lighting and Accessories

LEDRopeLights.com is located in Michigan, so we are fortunate to be surrounded by lakes. For those of us who like to take late night boat rides, LED rope lighting has provided a safe and energy efficient way to locate the home dock. Not to mention it looks fantastic! It took only about 15 minutes to install and have it up and running. A few simple steps and your dock can sparkle over the water to welcome you home.

Follow these steps:

1.Determine the color of the LED rope light you want to use (I used pure white).
2.Measure the length that you need the LED rope light to cover. (eg. 39ft. increments of 3”)
3.Place your custom cut LED rope light order at LEDRopeLights.com.
4.Check/Arrange for a power source near the dock.
5.Once you have the LED Rope Light plug it in.
6.Place the LED rope light along the edge of your dock.
7.Depending on the material your dock is made of you can fasten the rope light to the dock a couple of different ways. The rope light only needs to be fastened down every 3-6ft for it to have nice straight appearance.
Metal docks – Zip ties or similar.
Wood docks – Rope light clips (screw/nail)
